PZ Cussons Launches Camel Buy and Fly Promotion

Categories

In line with its commitment to reward consumers with fantastic experiences, PZ Cussons launched a Camel promotion dubbed “Camel Buy and Fly romotion” on the 13th of September 2018.

The Camel Buy and Fly promotion is designed to reward loyal consumers with over GHS500,000 worth of prizes including, airtime, hampers and 12 all-expense paid trips for 2 people to Dubai

Camel over the years has championed the health care of Ghanaians and this is evident from partnerships with the Ghana Medical Association, the Paediatric Society of Ghana and the Ghana Midwifery Association as well as the various activities such as the Camel Schools Sanitation Tour, Camel Hospital donations and Camel Medical Outreaches across the nation. Through these activities, hundreds of thousands of Ghanaians have benefitted from free medical screening, health education and support from the brand across the nation.

A year ago, the Camel brand began a journey to transition to Carex, essentially to tap into the international recognition and benefits of the Carex brand, as the number one hand care brand in UK, bringing a global antiseptic brand within reach of Ghanaians. This National Consumer Promotion is one of many exciting things Camel has in store for the brand as this merger continues.

Hafsa Arthur, Head of Brand Development and Activation at PZ Cussons Ghana, while commenting on the launch of this promotion stated: “The Camel and Carex brands have always championed the health of the consumer. We believe Health goes beyond physical health. Our consumers should also have some relaxation time to improve their overall wellbeing and this is what inspired a national consumer promotion which rewards 12 consumers and their partners with a fun and relaxing holiday. Our phrase Say Yes to Life simply means Camel ensures that families can go out there and have fun and know that Camel has got them protected”.

To enter the Camel Buy and fly promotion, consumers have to purchase any Camel Antiseptic liquid or Carex Hand-wash with a scratch panel and text the number revealed to short code 1393 free of charge.

MaryAnn Boaten, Category Manager for Personal Care at PZ Cussons further explained that “The exciting thing about this consumer promotion is that every single week for the next 12 weeks, a winner will be selected from all entries live on air on Joy FM, Adom FM, or Luv FM to win an all-expense paid trip for 2 to Dubai. This winner together with their loved one gets to experience a week of beautiful sights and attractions of Dubai including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and many more”.

With sizes ranging from 125ml (small) to 1L (large) and variants including Camel Antiseptic Zesty and Original, Camel Baby which caters for Mother and Baby, as well as Carex handwash, Camel Now from Carex, has a wide range of products to choose from that suits every pocket. Camel and Carex are available in all neighbourhood shops, supermarkets and open Markets.
